Providing 350 million rupees from the profit earned by the employees of Pelawatta - Sevanagala units of Lanka Sugar Company to the Exchequer. the commemorative cheque 
was presented to His Excelency the President Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe.

For this occation, the Minister of Plantation Dr. Ramesh Pathirana, State Minister Mr. Lohan Ratwatte, Chairman Major General Saradha Samarakoon and 
Director / Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gamini Rasaputra also joined.
